New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Commissioner and Chair of Governor Pataki's Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC) Raymond P. Martinez (left) joins Dr. Jeffrey Runge, Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) at the "Corazon de Mi Vida" (You are the Center of My Life) bilingual press conference, held February 12th at PS86X in the Bronx.  The event launched a Spanish language campaign which included educational materials designed to target Latino parents about the importance of properly buckling up their children.  The GTSC banner "Seguridad de los Pasajeritos" was displayed to remind parents to secure their "little passengers."  For more information about GTSC Spanish language materials on traffic safety issues, please visit www.safeny.com.  A variety of brochures are also available through Governor Pataki's Traffic Safety Committee.
