New York State Operation Lifesaver Committee Meetings.
Meetings are conducted monthly. Location varies. Call for details. OLI Board meetings are held quarterly.
"Officer-on-the-Train" Program.
These highway/railroad grade crossing law enforcement programs are conducted at least twice a year at various locations in the state. Police officers riding a special train work in conjunction with fellow officers stationed along the route to issue summonses to motorists passing downed crossing gates, people trespassing on the tracks and other violations.

Grade Crossing Collision Investigation and Prevention Course for Police Officers.
This three-day course for law enforcement officers is offered at least twice a year. The program trains police officers in the techniques for investigating, and preventing, highway/rail grade crossing crashes.
"Operation Lifesaver Safety Express" Train.
This special train trip is run at least once a year (usually during the New York State Fair) to help educate the public about the dangers associated with highway/rail grade crossings and other rail safety issues.
Operation Lifesaver Level I Presenter's Courses.
To assist the NYS Operation Lifesaver Committee maintain an active speakers bureau, they conduct these Presenter's Courses. The Level I course is offered at least twice a year.
